Santa, Father Christmas, Saint Nicholas, Saint Nick, Kris Kringle, and so on and so forth. There are many names to the fictional character of Santa Claus, but all speak to the same iconic figure around the holiday season character (mainly from the Western Christian culture) who is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on the night of Christmas Eve (December 2nd); waking up to find gifts left behind on the morning of Christmas Day (December 25th). Usually and generally depicted as a portly, jolly, white-bearded man (sometimes having spectacles), and wearing a red coat with white fur cuffs, white-fur-cuffed red trousers, red hat with white fur, and black leather belts, and carrying a bag full of gifts for children. 2022 has seeing some improvement over the events that took place in 2020 and 2021, yet the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic still continue to linger and there are those who have faced hardships this year. Thus, the importance of movies still remains strong as the ways and means of escapism from reality, and I hope that people have found comfort in watching cinematic tales in such trying times.

Theory can only take you so far….as Universal Pictures releases the official trailer for director Christophe Nolan’s latest film project titled Oppenheimer. View trailer below.
The film follows the life of theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, the director of the Los Alamos Laboratory during the Manhattan Project, and his contributions that led to the creation of the atomic bomb.
I was wondering when a new trailer for this movie was going to appear online. This new trailer showcases plenty of new footage from the upcoming Nolan project and provides several “teases” insight into Murphy’s depiction of J. Robert Oppenheimer. With a very ambitious cinematic take on such events, a visionary director at the helm, and a sprawling recognizable cast, Oppenheimer is set to be one of the pinnacle movie releases of the 2023 summer.

Walt Disney’s animated feature films have always been a hot commodity with its viewers as well as its theatrical box office success. For more than two decades, the animated powerhouse studio has been both reinventing itself and looking back to its glory days, harkening to a time when their cartoon motion pictures were celebrated with their signature style. Beginning back in 2009’s Princess and the Frog, the company has looked towards that particular style for some of his more prominent hits, recalling its time-honored traditions of storytelling of princess, animal sidekicks’ characters, and musical songs to sing.
