It’s time to head back into the “Spider-Verse” as Sony Pictures releases official trailer for the upcoming animated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. View trailer below.
After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redifine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.
I was wondering when the new trailer for this movie was going to be released. Following the success of the 2018 film, I was quite curious to see what Sony was going to do with this particular animated property, with a sequel being planned for sometime in the future. Well, here it is with a brand-new trailer and this movie shows plenty of new footage. The trailer itself is still sort of vague as to what is fully going on, but that’s probably for good reason. Whatever the case may be, the footage shown gives me chills and I can’t wait to see how deep the Spider-Verse goes in this new movie.
