Happy New Year 2023! | Jason’s Movie Blog

Ringing the new year with good tidings, joy, and cinematic storytelling from Jason’s Movie Blog. A quick update for you guys and special thank you!

With the year of 2023 officially begun, I’m excited to watch and review many of the movie releases for this year; hoping to laugh, cry, and awe within their theatrical narratives. Can’t wait!

Hello, everyone! The year of 2022 is quickly winding down as we all are getting ready to celebrate and ring in the new year. For those keeping track, 2022 was a slightly better year than 2021, but it wasn’t exactly the “best year” of what it used to be for everyone, including the movie industry with several big and small releases being shuffled and / or delayed. There are many names to the fictional character of Santa Claus, but all speak to the same iconic figure around the holiday season character (mainly from the Western Christian culture) who is said to bring gifts to the homes of well-behaved children on the night of Christmas Eve (December 2nd); waking up to find gifts left behind on the morning of Christmas Day (December 25th). Usually and generally depicted as a portly, jolly, white-bearded man (sometimes having spectacles), and wearing a red coat with white fur cuffs, white-fur-cuffed red trousers, red hat with white fur, and black leather belts, and carrying a bag full of gifts for children. 2022 has seeing some improvement over the events that took place in 2020 and 2021, yet the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic still continue to linger and there are those who have faced hardships this year.
